Septage Receiving
Butler County Department of Environmental Services accepts trucked waste (septage) from licensed and permitted waste haulers. Haulers can receive a BCDES permit by submitting a Trucked Waste Discharge Application along with the applicable fees and documentation.
Complete information can be found in the Trucked Waste Rules and Regulations. Applicants with additional questions can call (513) 887-3686.
BCDES receives septage discharge Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., including legal holidays. You can arrange for after hours receiving by contacting the Chief Operator or Field Superintendent at (513) 887-3686.
Haulers with non-domestic toilet or grease-trap waste will also need to submit a Special Waste Evaluation Request Form (SWERF). Additional fees may apply.
